ISCHEMIC STROKE THROMBOLYTIC THERAPY is most effective if administered with in 3 hours of onset of stroke symptoms provided 1.the CT scan does not show any bleeding 2.paerson should not have bleeding abnormalities 3.should not have had heartattack recently 4.shouldnt have undergone anty major surgery 5.should not have bleeding peptic ulcer if the above conditions are met and the patient reaches the hospital where there is in house ct scan facility
